SŌPH is a richly layered Southern Rhône–inspired white, built of substance and intention. Fermented in a thoughtful combination of neutral French oak puncheons and concrete egg, with the egg accounting for 16% of the blend, the wine spent 11 months on lees before bottling. Just under one-third new French oak lends a subtle frame of spice and warmth, perfectly complementing the wine’s ripe, expressive character from this warm and generous vintage.

Roussanne anchors the wine with opulent notes of golden pear, peach, and soft florals, while Marsanne brings layered aromatics of grilled pineapple and tropical fruit, balancing richness with depth. Clairette Blanche contributes a lifted, grassy freshness and hints of mangosteen, while Grenache Blanc adds brightness and tension through citrus zest, blossom, and vibrant acidity. A small measure of retained malic acid imparts a gentle green apple–like lift, enhancing balance and length.

Full-bodied and silky in texture, Soph glides across the palate with remarkable viscosity, yet finishes with a refreshing, mouthwatering energy. Subtle notes of baking spice, green cardamom, vanilla, and gentle char emerge from the French oak without overshadowing the fruit. This is a Rhône white of structure, and grand expression, offering both immediate pleasure and the promise of graceful evolution.
